Great Golf Surrounds Orange Beach

Kiva Dunes

Gulf Shores Golf Club

Craft Farms

Orange Beach close to Kiva Dunes

  • Located on the Fort Morgan peninsula, offering dramatic coastal views and resort-style amenities.
  • Designed by Jerry Pate, it’s ranked among the best public courses in Alabama.
Ideal for a “destination golf” round — scenic, high-quality, memorable.

Tip: Because of its popularity and scenic value, book early and ask for tee times that maximize views (morning light is nice).

Craft Farms

Gulf Shores Golf Club

Craft Farms

  • 36 holes of championship golf (two separate 18-hole layouts: Cypress Bend & Cotton Creek), designed by Arnold Palmer.
Cypress Bend noted for its wide landing areas, lakes and bunkers — great for golfers of many skill levels.
  • Excellent value for the area and flexibility (choose your course, mix rounds).

Tip: If you have the time, play both layouts one day or back-to-back days for variety.

Gulf Shores Golf Club

Gulf Shores Golf Club

Gulf Shores Golf Club

  • A classic championship layout (18 holes, par-71) designed by Jay & Carter Morrish.
  • Located near Gulf Shores' resort area, making it convenient if you are staying in or around Gulf Shores.
Good mix of challenge and charm: well-regarded locally.

Tip: Consider this if you want a strong quality round but not the premium resort price of some coastal courses.

GlenLakes Golf Club

The Preserve on Soldier's Creek

Gulf Shores Golf Club

  • Located in Foley and offers 27 holes (Dunes/Vista 18 + Lakes 9) to give you flexibility.
  • Touted as “the area’s best value” — good for budget-conscious rounds without sacrificing quality.

Tip: For a relaxed day, play the 9-hole Lakes layout for a shorter, more casual round.

The Preserve on Soldier's Creek

The Preserve on Soldier's Creek

The Preserve on Soldier's Creek

  • An 18-hole public course located near the Gulf Coast and offering a bit more “hidden gem” feel compared to the major resort courses.
  • Rolling terrain, lakes, nice greens, friendly staff.

Tip: A nice option if you’re seeking a quieter round or want to mix in something off the “major resort” path.

Perdido Bay Golf Club

The Preserve on Soldier's Creek

The Preserve on Soldier's Creek

  • Public 18-hole course, just across the border in Florida.
  •  Adds a bit of variation if you’re willing to drive a bit.

TimberCreek Golf Club

  •  27-hole championship layout with rolling terrain, forested corridors of magnolias, dogwoods and pines, and wetlands that wind through the property designed by Earl Stone.
  • Multiple tee settings and 3 nine-hole loops

Tip: Many suggest to play conservative

Rock Creek Golf

Orange Beach Golf Center

TimberCreek Golf Club

  • Designed by Earl Stone, the course plays to just under ~7,000 yards from the back tees and features significant elevation changes and undulating terrain — unusual for a Gulf-Coast course.
  • Fairways are generously wide and lined with tall pines and hardwoods, while many holes carry over wetlands and feature multi-tiered greens, which make approach shots and green reads more strategic.

Tip:
On Hole #2, tee-shots drop about 70 feet to the fairway, then your approach must carry wetlands to an elevated green with a bulkhead behind it. Make sure to check Daily Deals!
